Makover, Judah

Judah Makover
Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

What is the RISE area of interest during your first year and why?:

I am doing service my first year because I feel that service is the best way to give back and say thank you to someone/something. The engineering department has allowed me to explore my interests and has taught me a lot. I want to thank the department by doing service and contributing to the departments success.

What is the RISE area of interest during your second year and why?:

I am doing instruction my second year because I want to help my peers understand course material and develop a similar love for chemical engineering that I have. I want to assist fellow students in understanding engineering and help students preform better academically.  Instruction will provide me a venue to do so.

What are your involvements and or extracurricular activities?:

I am currently the vice president of the chemical engineering honor society. I am an undergraduate teaching fellow for the statistics course for chemical engineers. I am also the secretary for the fraternity.

What is your cool engineering experience?:

When I  was in the fourth grade, I built a robot for a competition that had be able to move along a track. I was unsure how to do it until I realized I could put the robot on a battery-operated race car to fulfill the requirement.
